The People’s Book Prize 6th Award Ceremony and winners…

The public have chosen Britain’s next best selling authors.  Five winners emerged triumphant  at
the 6th Awards Ceremony of The People’s Book Prize black tie dinner at Stationers’ Hall last night.
The ceremony was broadcast ‘live’ by SKY NEWS the glamorous event celebrated the finalists and winners chosen by the public.

A story of triumph over adversity, this compelling chronicle, the first book written by a CF sufferer at 40, offers hope and inspiration, demonstrating what cannot be cured needs to be endured.

TPBP Beryl Bainbridge Award for Best First Time Author
Children’s Poetry by Primary School Children published by Poems and Pictures Ltd

This poetry book is a result of a national initiative. The children have written poems about ‘Teamwork/Friendship’ or ‘Fears/Phobias’. Christina Gabbi, wanted a writing initiative that children of all abilities could have an opportunity to take part in, with the chance of having their work published.
